The Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is the decision-making body of STOPENTERICS with authority on the overall policy of the project with respect to European Commission rules and to the Grant Agreement.

This Committee is chaired by the Scientific Coordinator, Pr. Philippe Sansonetti, and composed of one representative of each Partner.

The Steering Committee:

  • evaluates the overall project progress based on the progress reports provided by the Project and Task Leaders.
  • decides on possible scientific re-orientations of the project and re-allocation of funds.
  • meet once a year, at the same moment that the Annual General Assembly meeting in which all the main scientists involved in the project will participate.

The Steering Committee shall not deliberate and decide validly unless a quorum two-thirds (2/3) of its Members are present or represented.

  • Each Member shall have one vote.
  • Defaulting Party Members may not vote.
  • Decisions shall be taken by a majority of two-thirds (2/3) of the votes.
